Judge me, O God, and argue my case before a disloyal nation;
before those who are tricky and unjust, deliver me.
For you are the God in whom I take refuge.
Why have you rejected me?
Why must I walk around in bad spirits because of the oppression of the enemy?
Send out your light and your fidelity;
let them lead me;
let them bring me to the hill of your holiness and to your dwelling places.
Then I will process to the altar of God;
to God the source of the delight of my joy;
I will praise you with the harp, O God, my God.
Why are you so distraught, I say to myself?
Why are you ill at ease?
Hope in God;
for for I shall again praise the one who brings health to my face,
and who is my God.
